Lauren Koeppe, CEO & co-founder of Create Hospitality, is a hospitality expert, restaurant developer, event producer and celebrity chef. Lauren founded Create Hospitality in Los Angeles in 2017 with the purpose of creating memorable experiences through new restaurant concepts, food & beverage, branding, operations, catering and events.
With a unique background combining restaurant management and event production as well as creative skills, coupled with her passion for food, wellness and travel, Lauren has truly a unique expertise she offers a range of clients. The hospitality side of Create Hospitality is both creative and operationally-driven via new concept development, openings, re-openings, events, pop ups, F&B development, branding, marketing, social media, operations, hiring, training and financials. Since starting her own company, Lauren has worked with the best hotels, restaurants, bars and social clubs in Los Angeles, Scottsdale and Miami, including Four Seasons, Mondrian Hotel, Rustic Canyon Group (Rustic Canyon, Cassia, Milo + Olive, Esters Wine Bar, Huckleberry, Sweet Rose Creamery), Love Serve Remember (Cafe Gratitude, Gracias Madre), Celebrity Chef Curtis Stone (Gwen), Élephante, The Pier House, Cartolina, Santé and Thunderbird. On the brand side, she has done marketing, experiential and events for William Grant & Sons (Glenfiddich), Proximo Spirits (Stranahan’s Whiskey, Hangar 1 Vodka) Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits (Gray Whale Gin, Josh Cellars, Redemption Whiskey, Bib & Tucker Bourbon & more), Jordan Winery & Vineyard, Stella Artois, BON V!V Spiked Seltzer, Estrella Jalisco, Nestle, Munchkin, WeWork, Vice, Bumble, Caruso (The Grove), The Beverly Center, NBA and the Cleveland Cavaliers, providing their pre & post game meals around the country.
Lauren got her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance from the University of Colorado Boulder and her Master’s Degree in Food Studies from New York University. Lauren began her career in management at world class restaurants, including The Standard on the New York City High Line, Hakkasan in the Fontainebleau Miami Beach and Hinoki & the Bird in LA. She later transitioned into Events Director roles at several of LA’s most popular restaurant/bars including E.P. & L.P., followed by creating, branding and launching catering companies for celebrity chefs Antonia Lofaso and Curtis Stone. She also co-founded the international yoga school and retreat company, YogaKoh, with celebrity trainer, Jolie Manza. Lauren has been quoted in Eater, Thrillist, Men’s Journal, The Zoe Report and Reader’s Digest as well as interviewed on KTLA and NBC.
